My Thoughts, Experience and Opinion on Roque Juatco Jr.’s Actions

ROQUE JUATCO JR. – Roque Juatco Jr. is the husband of Janice Lozano and the son of Erly and Bodeng Juatco of the Philippine Asian Chronicle Newspaper. He is also involved with Pinoy Buzz. I have a lot of issues with the comments posted by Roque Juatco Jr. on Jojo’s Facebook wall.

Firstly, Roque Juatco Jr. states “I guess if you choose to try and be famous by impersonating someone else. I guess that’s what’s happening here, these people are attacking kuya jo trying to make a name off of his lololo..”

What is this? Us trying to make a name off of Jojo Quimpo’s name??? This is bizarre!

Then he states “Ya lets go to Vegas where all the Impersonators perform, and enjoy and laugh at them, cuz that’s what’s happening here pretty much… We are laughing at these jokers, we shld just call them out by name so people can really know who these waste of time people are… #givemeabreak, #getalifealeady (not my spelling mistake), #yourtimeisup, #thismustbeajoke, #hasbeenorneverwas?”

Mr. Juatco Jr., are you cyber bullying all Impersonators in Las Vegas and all over the world? Or are you directing this only at Luisa who is a Tina Turner impersonator?

Luisa is proud of her chosen profession. She travels and entertains all over the world making people happy and earning an honest living. She helped and participated in many non profit organizations to raise money for good causes for many years. And don’t forget she and her whole band donated their time and talent at YOUR Pinoy Fiesta 2011. Now you call her down after what she did for you? That, Mr. Juatco Jr. is what you call HYPOCRITICAL.

Then you also state “…Luisa Marshall has been calling ppl and sending emails, slandering our name…” Mr. Juatco Jr., do you have any proof that Luisa has been calling people and sending slandering emails?

Firstly, let’s discuss the emails issue. (emails meaning sending more than one) slandering your name.

Rocque Juatco Jr., you are stating on a public forum that Luisa sent “…emails…” slandering your name. I think you should actually be referring in this case as LIBEL because libel is in written form and slander is in spoken form. When someone makes a written statement that is not true you can sue. The defence to any libel case is if the statement written is actually true. If the statement is true then you have no case. I ask you to send me a copy of these “emails” that Luisa has sent that includes untrue information to numerous people and it actually directly names you or your family. You did state “emails” so you need to show more than one person that Luisa Marshall has sent that slanders your name.

Also you state in this public Facebook forum on Francisco “Jojo” Quimpo’s wall that Luisa Marshall “…has been calling ppl…. slandering our name…”

Mr Roque Juatco Jr., why don’t you show the proof that Luisa Marshall did, in fact, make verbal statements that are untrue about you or your family. If anything she said was true, you have no case. It might hurt your feelings, it might expose things you don’t want people to know about. But you have no case if it is true.

Then you state in Francisco “Jojo” Quimpo’s public facebook wall “… as a matter of fact 4 years ago before any of this bs.. her and her husband invited Jojo to dinner before we were close, and told him to stay away from us? Stay away from us why? For what reason, she continued to talk about my parent s being bad people.. All these things being said and we haven’t even met this person.. Keep in Mind that’s 4 years ago when we first started our tv show.. How Convenient.. up until now….still talking to people and we have witnesses and a few pm as proof too. Going on in public like she’s trying to protect the community yet in her msg she says she has nothing to do with the community but her show so really what does that tell you.”

Mr. Juatco Jr., you seemed to conveniently forget that you did meet us before you even had a TV show. Remember we are the ones that gave you the airtime for Elena Aikenhead’s show pitch for Pinoy Buzz. We had the airtime for 10 weeks from 9:00pm to 10:00pm every Monday long before your show Pinoy Buzz. We signed off and gave the airtime to you for the 9:30pm to 10:00pm time slot. You would not have received this important time slot if I did not sign off on it and allow you to have it. I was requested by Elena Aikenhead to film a segment of Janice Lozano hosting for your initial demo presentation to the tv network for free. You came to my house yourself to pick up a copy of that video filmed at Kentizen Restaurant. I did this for free to help you and Janice start your own tv show. Did you forget that part? So Mr. Juatco Jr., you did in fact meet us back then in person while we were doing something for you so don’t try to make it sound like we had issues with you back then and never met you. We were helping you until the Facebook issue that started on Janice Lozano’s wall came out against us earlier in 2010. The fact is you guys started the issues between us.

I do remember this dinner with Mr. Jojo Quimpo and the initial reason for the meeting had nothing to do with you or your family. I do remember at that time the real reason for the meeting was to convince Jojo Quimpo TO COLLABORATE WITH REY FORTALEZA AND HIS REYFORT MEDIA ON THE NEXT PINOY FIESTA 2011 and to stop attacking another local public leader on Facebook. History repeats itself. Just as Jojo is allowing to happen to Luisa 4 years later. You are right on one thing: nothing has changed all these years.

At one point Roque Juatco Jr. stated “well when she heard all these accusations about us did she ask us? or did she judge and right away..” I got to thinking about your statement. I ask you Mr. Juatco Jr. Did you ask us about any of the accusations you are directing at us? No, never. You preach one thing but do the other. That Jr. Juatco is what you would call HYPOCRITICAL.

Roque Jr. you also stated “…Keep in mind that’s 4 years ago when we first started our tv show… How Convenient .. up until now….still talking to people and we have witnesses and a few pm as proof too. Going on in public like she’s trying to protect he community yet in her msg she says she has nothing to do with the community but her show so really what does that tell you. “

Roque Juatco Jr., what are you saying here? Please look above and take notice that we approved your show and airtime to be on TV. We promoted you. I took your first video so you would be approved. And now are you insinuating that we have an issue because you now have a the Pinoy Buzz tv show? We had no issues until we started to get attacked on Janice Lozano’s Facebook wall by her friends. That is when you got my attention. Don’t try to turn this story around.

I’m sure if you have the proof you will show me how and when Luisa stated “she has nothing to do with the community but her so….”

Roque Jr. said something in a hashtag “#” statement (incase any of you readers don’t know # is a shorthand way of stating things on twitter and certain sorts of media) I don’t think its appropriate but this is what Jr. Juatco said.

“#ifyoucantsayittoourfacethendontsayitonfacebook” this is what Roque said.

Jr. Juatco, you make this statement but here you are saying all these things against my wife and you have never said this to her face. Instead you do what you are telling us not to do and you are doing this on Facebook. That is HYPOCRITICAL. Luisa and myself would be more than happy to sit down and discuss all this publicly and in person, on camera with you Janice and your family face to face. Let me know when you want to do it. This will clear everything up once and for all for everyone.

Roque Jr. stated “you never once asked us our side of the story”. You are correct I didn’t ask you your side. I looked at pretty clear evidence from my perspective. But you are right. So, I ask you now what is your side of the story? Do you want to sit down and show all your proof that all the allegations against you are not true? We will get all the alleged information together and you can sit down with us on camera and show the proof how all these people that most of which did not know each other when the issues happened is not telling the truth. Prove to me that they are just haters, negas or they just want to get famous by using your names. This is your chance to clear your name.

Roque Juatco Jr. stated “that’s the truth let let it all out now so we can see who the scammers really are they pushed us to this….

Roque Juatco Jr., there are accusations all around you, Janice Lozano and some of your family members. I repeat if you want to clear you and your family’s names against any of the accusations directed at you all there is an easy way to do this. Just show the public that these accusations are not true by showing the proof that they aren’t true. If you can prove they aren’t true you can sue them. That will clear all this up once and for all. Instead, you really don’t even dispute that they aren’t true. You only focus on your interpretation of why people are doing this. You go on to call them “haters” or “negas”.
